There have been rumours on the internet that details of survivors and witnesses have been leaked from Exaro following its sudden closure last week.
This is to tell you that both I and Mark Conrad have received full assurances that all information not only affecting our child sexual abuse allegations but a wide area of other investigations have been safeguarded as required to comply with privacy and data protection laws. Anyone suggesting anything to the contrary is wrong.

The Anna Raccoon author reckons that Exaro might not have fully complied with their responsibilities in respect of the Data Protection Act and the ICO is looking into the matter.

Owen – As far as I am aware ICO not investigating Exaro – and Anna Raccoon would have no knowledge about what Exaro has done or not done.
in addition yesterday raised issue of safeguarding with the National Union of Journalists who are handling our cases with Exaro re payment and redundancy so they are aware of the issue as well.

if you’re using Windows they already got it for sure, second you put it on the computer….even with a linux distro, impossible to know for sure…..ironically though they may well leak it for you then prosecute you for it….can see that happening now! only likes of Vaz can get away with that….:-(
then again they might just ‘investigate’ you and steal the info ‘legally’ that way…..

Interesting points. However not all of the information is on computer as it is historic and held on paper files.

paper files does make it a bit more difficult for them….but presumably they were their files in the first place…? and if u not got them scanned….you’re inviting them to torch the place with that comment….?
