Fascinating that Andy Coulson can’t remember anything Dan Evans told him about phone hacking when he interviewed him for a job and never even suspected that convicted hacker Clive Goodman had employed Glenn Mulcaire, who admitted hacking voicemails.

Kuttner’s Notes of Conversation with Goodman Just After his Arrest

Here is the News International hand written document released by the Crown Prosecution Service and written by Stuart Kuttner that contains the evidence that Andy Coulson knew about information leaked from MI6 bugging reaching the paper

As discussed in evidence yesterday and today, the CPS have released a redacted version of Stuart Kuttner‘s contemporaneous notes of his discussion with former NOTW Royal Reporter Clive Goodman, dated 10th August 2006, soon after he was released from his arrest and questioning by police in the initial Operation Caryatid investigation into phone hacking.

This evidence is currently being adduced by Andrew Edis QC, as he cross examines Kuttner in the witness box. The original pages are from the NI archives, where Kuttner explains he filed most his notebooks. The transcript is an agreed document

Expect major new revelations about child sex abuse in Rochdale  around the late paedophile Mp Sir Cyril Smith as the police examine 33 boxes of new evidence uncovered from Knowl View Special school.

 A report in Exaro News by my colleague Nick Fielding warns that the files now being examined by the police could provide further horrendous disclosures surrounding child sexual abuse in the town. Although the police abandoned an investigation in Cyril Smith they are now investigating complaints of child sexual abuse involving the school committed by other people at the time.

The investigation comes as a new book by Labour MP Simon Danzcuk, the MP for Rochdale will be published this month which  will look at Cyril Smith’s career and connections.

 Far from going away it looks like that further revelations will show just like the Jimmy Savile affair, Cyril Smith was able to get away with his appalling predatory career without any hindrance or intervention from people who should have known better.

A total denial from Mark Hanna, NI’s security chief, that he was part of a plot to shield Rebekah Brooks from the police investigation into phone hacking. He also says he has never heard of President Nixon’s Watergate. Really! Where’s this man been living all this time.

Mark Hanna, suspended on full pay by the newspaper company when he was charged in May 2012, said he would not commit a crime for anyone.
